Norwich Single-Cell Symposium 2024

This two-day workshop will provide an overview of the sample preparation and visualisation on the Vizgen MERSCOPE spatial transcriptomics platform, focussing on challenges of working with plant tissue.

This 3-day course will help to provide scientists with an overview of eukaryotic genome annotation approaches, covering advances in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, transcriptome assembly, best practice guidance for building gene models utilising short and long read sequencing data or cross species proteins, how to integrate and assess different gene models and create a publication/release ready gene set.

This Image Processing carpentry workshop uses Python and skimage to allow researchers to do fundamental image processing as part of their analyses. A working knowledge of Python and some previous exposure to the Bash shell is required.
